This page was an interestng one. Keeping with the G-rated golden age theme request of the YEET appearance in print we'd set up for Tom's dream of seeing the book in print, ass well as making the book as eye-popping as possible, it was a bit of a chore to take the scene from the script and bring it to life.
Tom had originally wanted the victims of the laser strike to melt, revealing flesh and such. We compromised on my irratiating them and showing a negative x-ray effect.
We were both pleased with the result.
